Hello everyone! This week was a short but a fun packed one! Two Letters showed up in our Class. Letters "Kaf"and "Chaf". Letter "Kaf" has a cookie inside and of course is "Kosher":) ! We introduced this topic by learning and recognizing the most famous "Kosher symbols". The Yeladim promised to check their pantries at home to make sure they find this symbols! We apologize in advance in case of any messes....

We have been waiting a long time to learn letter "I". We knew this letter says "Ice Cream"!!!!. We decorated letter "I" with Ice cream cones and colorful "Ice cream" balls (pom poms). We made our own "Instant Ice Cream" from scratch!!!! and really enjoyed making "Igloos" out of marshmallows!

Morah Lily couldn't join us this week for a Personal matter, but Mrs, Ovadia came to the rescue! She brought many tambourines/drums to school and taught us different cool rhythms! We all got a chance to play and had the best time! Thank you Mrs. Ovadia!

For Community Helpers We had a really special visit from a police officer. She explained us Her job, keeping people safe, and made sure to do so by reminding us to always "bugle up" when in the car, and never talk or follow strangers! She also taught us what to do in case we get lost or there is an emergency.

This week we focused on a very special Helper! The mail Carrier!. We are not ready to read yet but one thing we love to do is recognize our names and try to write them! At the writing table we were able to trace our names over and over !
After learning the parts of a letter we wrote one to our families! check your mail boxes in the next few days! a very important letter is arriving!

For Parsha we learned this week how after so many years of waiting for children Avraham and Sarah finally had a baby boy! what a great miracle! We continued the story and loved hearing about how Eliezer found the perfect girl for Yitchak!.
We brought some of the parsha to real life when we got to make our own "Water Well" and even got to pour our drinks from it!
We made our own little Water wells and made jewelry just like Eliezer gave Rivka, with beads made out of newspaper! Beautiful recycled necklaces !
