Tasting, tasting and more tasting! All about apples and honey!

What a fantastic day we had! We all want our families to have a very SWEET new year! We discussed apples and honey. and morah showed us different color apples. we also got to taste them and made a survey about which was our favorite... the results??? a TIE in all three colors. In the afternoon with Morah Karen we learned about the honey process from awesome books! we also got to taste different foods and drinks such as lemon juice, honey, green apples, sugar etc and had to decide if they felt sweet, sour or salty in our mouths! here are some pictures of today!

Where or where does the "shofar" come from??

Rosh Hashana is in the air! first stop... the Shofar! After learning and singing about it rabbi Barash blew the Shofar for us! we made our own and cant wait to take it to shul! Tekia________________
We also met Morah Lili and danced away with her! in the afternoon we experimented with sounds! come to our class and check out the results.....
