Travel Unit- Letter Aleph- Bereshit Part 2

Here we are! back for more! Wednesday and Thursday were fun packed days! We continued with our  space travel unit, discussing "Gravity" We did several experiments for the children to understand this concept. Yona and Ezra tried really hard to stay on air after jumping but gravity pulled them right back down! we tried to push cars up a ramp but they kept rolling down!. After watching clips of Astronauts floating in space we learned that a jump in space is six times longer than on earth. we made children jump, and and marked down the point were they started the jump and the landing point. After we had the measurements we multiplied the distance by six and with a measuring tape we were able to see how GIANT jumps are when in space. We Started stories from the Parsha and were fascinated by Hashem's powers when He created our beautiful world. We are practicing the numbers as well as we mention every day of creation!. Morah Lily came to visit us on Wednesday and we had lots of fun dancing and singing with her.

Sun project! we put plastic over the sun colors paint and smeared the paint all over mixing the colors together and creating a cool fire effect!
