My very first book of colors- by Eric Carle / colors from the rainbow

what a great end to a great week!Eric Carle's book "My very first book of colors"was great practice! we loved matching the colors with the right color picture! it was perfect timing! in stories of the parsha we learned hoe Noach finally came out of the Teiva and saw a sign in the sky "a rainbow". This led us to talk about the "primary colors" and the different combinations to create new vibrant ones! We loved creating our own colors, and paint a canvas with them!
Eric Carle book Animals, Animals really helped us imagine the Animals in the Teiva. It was a great source for us to decide which animal to be when we reenacted the animals coming to the Teiva!
enjoy the pictures!
we painted with unconventional paint brushes to create texture like effects like Eric Carle!
