we got to play with feathers and feel their texture and touch to know what to expect when we go to do "Kaparot". We had a very cute visitor "Mr Chicken" who taught us how to do "Kaparot".. "ze Kaparati...".
We leaned about the laws of Yom Kipur and we made special "slippers"ONLY to wear at home! but not before Morah karen taught us how to measure our feet to know the right size! It was very interesting to know who wears the biggest size shoes and who the smallest! We got to stamp shoes on a paper and see the different marks shoes leave!
and of course we made sure to say SORRY to all our friends in case we hurt them in any way!!!! We loved making friendship bracelets for each other to show them our love !
The story of Yonah taught us a great lesson on TESHUVA and how Hashem always gives us chances to go back to him and fix our mistakes!
We started getting ready for Succot as well! After looking at different picture of succot and sharing our personal experiences we built a miniature sample all together! We loved using our creativity to create a succa on paper on a open ended succa collage! enjoy!
